Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing an effective sales strategy and driving profitable sales of Stallion’s portfolio of products and services. They will lead a highly motivated sales team to build brand awareness, close deals, win clients, and partner effectively with Operations to grow our business. This position plans and manages all sales efforts in accordance with established goals set by the Company and the VP of Sales.

Role Priorities / Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team of sales representatives to meet sales targets. Monitors the performance of the team and modify sales strategies if needed. Addresses issues proactively.
  • Provides effective training and communication to the sales team to maximize efficiencies. Proactively resolving conflicts as they arise.
  • Champions technology, effective use of CRM/RM, and other productivity tools to meet objectives.
  • Researches and identifies sales opportunities, generating leads, and target identification.
  • Reaches out to new customers and makes presentations or pitches outlining the benefits of product/ services.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with all potential and existing clients.
  • Ensures proper servicing and after sales support to clients.
  • Data reporting to management through Salesforce.
  • Gathers and reports relevant market intelligence.
  • Understands the client requirements and then customizing the product/ services where possible.
  • Fulfills short-term and long-term sales goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Initiates, develops and maintains successful customer relations efforts.
  • Manage all existing and developing customer accounts.
  • Participates in the development of proposals.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of brand marketing.
  • Attends and participate in company/industry sales and marketing events.
  • Assists credit with collection by acting as a liaison between credit and customer to resolve and collect outstanding fees.
  • Maintains updated process documentation.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Established network within customer base, industry and in targeted industry segments
  • Exceptional account management skills
  • Thorough understanding of Stallion’s products & services, market and customers
  • Able to understand and structure sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Promotes teamwork, cohesiveness, and coordination between Sales and Operations
  • Skillful at contracting, negotiating, and conflict resolution
  • Committed to following all of Stallion’s policies including the expense and reimbursement policy
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with Salesforce, CRM tools, and lead generation applications

Education or Certification required (if applicable):

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry sales experience
  • 10+ years of industry related sales experience
  • Strong client portfolio
