Essential Job Functions:
This job is responsible for sustainable and profitable growth of a mix of BLs business across India by leading commercial strategy, developing key customer relationships and identifying market development opportunities. The role is accountable for achieving sales and profitability targets, managing receivables and serving as the primary commercial interface between customers and internal stakeholders. Through strong market intelligence, customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration, the position supports strategic decision making, strengthens competitive positioning and delivers long-term business value.
Owns commercial performance across the assigned market, delivering sales, profitability and growth objectives. Drives margin improvement through disciplined pricing, value selling, cost management and effective management of receivables and working capital.
Develops and executes strategic account plans for key customers, builds long-term relationships and ensures high standards of customer responsiveness, technical support and service excellence.
Identifies, develops and converts new business opportunities within existing and adjacent markets. Supports and guides distribution partners to drive profitable growth and maximize market penetration. Maintains opportunity pipelines and CRM discipline.
Acts as the market expert by monitoring competitors, market trends, regulatory developments and technology changes. Provides market insights and demand forecasts to support business planning, S&OP and strategic decision-making.
Collaborates with Marketing, Product Management, R&D and Operations to influence product development, pricing and supply priorities. Represents the region in global and regional initiatives, product launches and strategic discussions.
Manages reporting, compliance requirements, internal meetings, training, travel, process improvements and other duties as assigned.
