Regional Sales Manager – UK and MEA

Overall purpose of role
Accelerate sales growth within the specified region and industries through direct sales, new business development and effective channel management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent: Fitzpatrick, Quadro and Matcon products in the UK and Middle East and Africa region.
- Business Development: Identify industry, consumer and competitive trends; using credible market intelligence to make recommendations for action plans and programs in line with the Company’s strategy.
- Work collaboratively with channel partners: Develop relationships across every department of our channel partners business, aspiring to find true ‘Partnership’ between the MPT and channel partners organisation. Maintaining quarterly reviews, continuously monitoring performance and driving them to seek new business opportunities.
- Formulate and execute a channel strategy for the MEA region: Deliver double digit growth through the appointment, onboarding and effective management of channel partners.
- Core Sales Activities:
- Responding to enquiries in the agreed timeframes
- Help define and coordinate responses to enquiries (type, format, timescale and content)
- Coordinate demonstrations and trials
- Follow up Proposals with customers in a timely manner.
- Negotiate and close orders.
- Ensure non-standard Ts & Cs are approved appropriately.
- Accurate forecasting: Communicate accurate sales forecasts by month, quarter and year adhering to established forecasting methodology.
- Marketing: Share market & customer information for use in developing and delivering marketing activities. Evaluating Leads, Opportunities, Wins & Losses to measure success and give constructive feedback to marketing for the ongoing improvement of Lead Generation.
- Data Management: Ensure the CRM (Dynamics) is routinely updated i.e. daily and weekly – especially in relation to customer visits, quoting, forecasting and similar information.
- Lead and Execute business improvement projects: Taking on special assignments within the areas of commercial excellence to drive: i) Efficiency ii) Effectiveness iii) Scalability

Skills & Abilities:
- Highly motivated, self-starting individual with the ability to plan, organize, work under pressure, meet deadlines and work both independently and part of a team.
- Capable of effectively and accurately working on several long term projects at one time.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with active listening. Has the ability to connect with their audience and present in a professional and engaging manner.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building capability using a trusted advisor approach.
- Possesses a solutions-oriented approach; has the ability to handle objections and to face and overcome adversity.
- Ability to travel, as required, on a regular basis.
- Proficient in utilization of Microsoft Office
Knowledge & Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing and/or Engineering discipline. Equivalent experience commensurate with the knowledge gained through completion of one of the above degrees will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Track record of successful channel partner recruitment and management is important
- Experience with growing sales within the MEA region is essential
- Knowledge of particle size reduction, blending and screening technologies advantageous
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
Location and travel requirements
Remote based, but extensive travel will be required within the specified region to customer sites, exhibitions, seminars and presentations. Regular attendance to Evesham Head Quarters is also required to establish working relationship and promote collaboration within the wider team.
