We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for Windrock located in Hobbs, NM to create and execute regional channel strategy for its new line of wireless sensors as it applies to customers and applications.

What You Will Do:

Customer Management:

  • Identify customer’s needs, vision cast, and sales opportunities to drive growth

  • Identify and establish business relationships

  • Listen, understand, and convey customer requirements

  • Identify and leverage resources to perform technical / product training for customers at targeted accounts

  • Identify and communicate customer requirements for new products/solutions

Strategy & Planning:

  • Define a regional strategy and implement its execution for years one, two, and three

  • Identify and develop strategic account plans leveraging other channel partner (internal and external) resources

  • Drive sales through direct customer relationships, distributors, and other ChampionX entities

  • Work closely with the organization to ensure that product strategies and performance are meeting growth and Annual Operating Plan targets

  • Work closely with Marketing & Technology teams to understand pros and cons of various solution approaches

Execution:

  • Articulate value story, technology and product positioning to both business and technical users

  • Create incremental demand, opportunities, and close orders

  • Maintain expert level of product and application knowledge within the battery-operated wireless sensor market

  • Meet sales goal targets monthly, quarterly, and yearly

  • Actively manage channel partners effectiveness, prospecting, closing, forecasting, and KPI’s by using a metrics-based approach to report progress and highlight potential roadblocks with proposed mitigation strategies

  • Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases through our Salesforce CRM

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field

  • Good overall knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry

  • 5 years of experience in condition monitoring and wireless sensor applications

  • Self-driven work ethic

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong Interpersonal and Organizational skills

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite

  • Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company

  • Availability for inter-regional travel as required, 50-70%

  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Physical Demands

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear

  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms

  • Ability to lift 10 lbs

  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
