Job Description

We are partnering with a leading provider of engineered wood and hard surface flooring products to identify a Regional Sales Manager focused on supporting distributor growth and expanding market presence throughout the East Coast region.

This is a remote, field-based sales role for an entrepreneurial professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to build long-term partnerships within the flooring industry. Primary market coverage may include major East Coast metros and travel hubs such as Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Savannah, Charlotte, Raleigh, Richmond, Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Newark, New York City, Long Island, Hartford, Providence, and Boston, with regular travel throughout the territory.

The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a proactive sales mindset, and the ability to identify growth opportunities across both dealer and end-user channels. This position offers the opportunity to drive meaningful territory expansion while working closely with leadership, distribution partners, and key accounts throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support distributor partners by identifying new business opportunities and assisting with sales growth initiatives
• Travel extensively throughout the territory alongside distributor representatives to meet with current and prospective customers
• Introduce new product collections while supporting ongoing education around existing product offerings
• Maintain strong communication with distributor partners regarding product launches, programs, and market initiatives
• Conduct ongoing training sessions and serve as a product knowledge resource for distributor teams
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across dealer, contractor, and end-user channels
• Develop strategic growth plans for key accounts and long-term partnership opportunities
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitive activity, and regional market conditions
• Generate new leads, schedule appointments, and cultivate new customer relationships throughout the territory
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives

Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience preferred
• Flooring industry experience strongly preferred, with hard surface product knowledge considered a plus
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and develop long-term business partnerships
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
• Confident presentation and communication skills in both in-person and virtual settings
• Working knowledge of CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational, teamwork, and leadership capabilities
• Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced and evolving business environment
• Professional presence with a strong customer-focused mindset
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the territory
