Essential Job Functions:

Sales and Market Growth Drive financial performance and market expansion in the assigned territory through independent customer management, opportunity development, and strategic sales execution.

Analytical and Commercial Expertise: Utilise strong analytical skills for accurate forecasting, pricing and profitability management, while leveraging CRM tools like SFDC for pipeline and performance tracking.

Customer and Market Focus: Deliver high-level customer support, gather market intelligence, and identify new product applications to maintain a competitive advantage and support business planning.

Achieve financial and commercial targets within the assigned territory by managing own sales activities and market development initiatives.

Contribute to strategic and tactical sales / marketing plans by providing insights from the field that support gross profit growth and market share expansion.

Maintain and grow relationships with key customers by delivering technical and commercial support; prepare customer visit reports, regular sales updates, and market intelligence.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory; document progress and actions using CRM tools such as SFDC.

Deliver accurate sales forecasts and support demand planning by providing data-driven insights based on customer engagement and pipeline status.

Maximise sales profitability by managing pricing, costs, and commercial conditions; ensure positive cash flow through proactive management of payment terms and overdue accounts.

Continuously gather and analyse market intelligence to uncover competitor activities and new use cases for existing products, supporting sales strategy and product positioning.

Ensure “best in class” customer care by aligning support and service with customer needs and business objectives.

Support and collaborate with distribution partners to emphasize value-based selling and identify ways to increase profitability through differentiated product offerings.

Stay informed of market trends and developments to provide input that supports innovation and the development of profitable new products.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education should be Graduate / Bachelor any discipline.

8+ years sales experience in chemical applications

Strong sales/Business development skills Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and management skills

Good communication skills with the ability to present key concepts both verbally and in writing

Able and willing to work from company premises (Mumbai) and /or home office; frequent travel.
