Job Description

The Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) Leader is part of the Regional Commercial Excellence team and plays a key role in delivering accurate, consistent, and effective sales incentive compensation processes across Western Europe and Francophone Africa.
The role partners closely with local country teams and International stakeholders to ensure high quality execution, strong governance, and alignment across markets. In addition, the position has direct, hands on responsibility for the end to end calculation and payment of sales incentive compensation for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH). A core focus of the role is contributing to and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, tools, automation, and transparency across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Regional Sales Incentive Compensation Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate the execution of sales incentive compensation processes across the region, ensuring a consistent, structured, and well‑aligned approach across countries.

  • Partner with local country commercial, finance, and operations teams to support correct interpretation and application of incentive compensation methodologies.

  • Act as a regional point of contact for International stakeholders regarding process updates, methodology changes, and performance cycle alignment.

2. DACH Ownership – Calculation & Payment

  • Own and manage the end‑to‑end planning, calculation, validation, and payment of sales incentive compensation for the DACH region.

  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, auditability, and data integrity across all incentive cycles.

  • Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and governance in line with audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

3. Continuous Improvement & Transformation

  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening sales incentive compensation processes, tools, automation, and data quality.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve transparency, and increase operational efficiency in collaboration with regional and International partners.

  • Monitor process performance and proactively propose enhancements to improve effectiveness and stakeholder experience.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in Sales Incentive Compensation, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Finance, or a similar analytical or operational role, preferably in a regional or international environment.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with hands‑on experience managing complex calculations, data validation, and incentive processes.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with CRM and Sales Performance Management tools is a strong advantage.

  • Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to process improvement or transformation initiatives.

  • Comfortable working in matrixed organizations, partnering with Commercial, Finance, and HR stakeholders.

  • Highly structured, detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities across countries.

  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
