Lead growth across data-driven manufacturing and analytics

At Minitab, we help organisations make smarter decisions through data, improving quality, streamlining operations, and accelerating digital transformation. Our analytics and software solutions are trusted by leading organisations worldwide.

We’re looking for a Regional Sales Director, EMEA North based in the UK to lead and grow our presence across the region. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape strategy, develop a strong regional team, and work directly with customers, particularly within manufacturing, industrial, and engineering-led sectors

If you’re a commercially driven sales leader who enjoys building teams, developing markets, and closing complex enterprise deals, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and deliver regional revenue targets across software and services, with a focus on consistent, sustainable growth
  • Define and execute a go-to-market strategy for EMEA North, aligned with Minitab’s global priorities
  • Build and maintain a strong, predictable pipeline through direct sales, channel partners, and strategic alliances
  • Lead a consultative, value-based sales approach, connecting Minitab’s analytics and manufacturing solutions to measurable business outcomes
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, across manufacturing and industrial organisations
  • Champion the Customer Engagement Lifecycle (CEL) to ensure strong customer outcomes and long-term value
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Alliances, and Product teams to drive growth across the full customer journey
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing, geographically distributed sales team
  • Coach the team on territory planning, account strategy, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Ensure disciplined use of CRM (Dynamics) and sales processes to support visibility and performance
  • Stay close to UK and EMEA market trends, particularly within manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and analytics adoption

What we’re looking for

  • A hands-on sales leader who is comfortable engaging directly with customers and supporting deal execution
  • Proven experience building, leading, and developing enterprise sales teams
  • Strong background in analytics software, manufacturing software solutions, or industrial technology
  • Experience selling into UK and EMEA markets, with an understanding of regional buying behaviours and business culture
  • Deep expertise in consultative and value-based selling approaches
  • Ability to clearly articulate how technology delivers business value (e.g. quality improvement, cost reduction, operational efficiency)
  • Experience building relationships at executive level within complex, matrixed organisations
  • Strength in core sales disciplines:
    • Account and opportunity planning
    • Pipeline development and forecasting
    • Negotiation and closing
    • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills

Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in enterprise software sales (SaaS and/or on-premise)
  • 3+ years leading regional or enterprise sales teams
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience working across UK and Northern Europe (e.g. Nordics, Benelux) preferred
  • Demonstrated success selling into manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors
  • Experience with subscription and recurring revenue models
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services
  • Experience growing strategic enterprise accounts
  • Familiarity with Dynamics CRM is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, EMEA North, and occasionally internationally

How you work

  • You take ownership and deliver results
  • You balance strategic thinking with practical execution
  • You build strong, collaborative relationships across teams
  • You bring energy, pace, and focus to your work
  • You’re commercially astute and customer-focused
  • You’re motivated by growth, performance, and continuous improvement

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with structured, consultative sales methodologies
