Role Definition: Plans, develops, manages and directs strategic sales, commercial and operational activities across the Asia Pacific region to achieve forecasted sales, revenue, margin, market share and profitability objectives. Develops and implements a sustainable long-term growth strategy for the region while ensuring customer satisfaction, operational excellence, governance, compliance and talent development. Leads the regional organization and serves as the executive representative of MWM within APAC.
Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Identifying, creating, and pursuing opportunities that help a company grow revenue, expand markets, build strategic partnerships, and achieve long-term business objectives.
Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Understanding Caterpillar's business segments, growth strategy, customers, dealers, products, services, and the commercial drivers that affect business performance.
Predict future sales demand and revenue by analyzing market conditions, customer activity, business pipelines, dealer feedback, historical trends, and economic indicators to support business planning and decision making.
Inspire, influence, and empower others to achieve business goals while demonstrating Caterpillar's values, driving results, developing people, and creating a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This position requires working onsite five days a week.
