About the role

Responsible for driving profitable growth across Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay through new account acquisition, installed-base development, strategic account management, agent management, and promotion of the full Mass Transfer Components Services (MTCS) portfolio including products and services.

  • Own commercial growth, order intake, and customer development across the Southern Cone region.
  • Develop and execute territory growth plans aligned with MTCS Americas objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new account opportunities and strategic growth projects.
  • Promote the complete MTCS portfolio including trays, packings, internals, separators, mixers, revamps, TAS and TFS offerings.
  • Develop installed-base opportunities including revamps, debottlenecking, replacement and turnaround projects.
  • Build relationships with end users, EPCs, licensors, engineering firms and contractors.
  • Manage channel partners and sales agents within the territory.
  • Support proposal development, negotiations, forecasting and CRM management.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends and investment projects across the region.
  • Represent Sulzer at industry conferences, customer events and technical seminars.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, technical sales or application engineering.
  • Experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, mining, LNG or related industries preferred.
  • Demonstrated record of growth and customer acquisition.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Spanish and English required; Portuguese desirable.
