Siegwerk is seeking a Regional Safety Consultant to support our customer-facing operations across North America, including employees working within customer facilities, technical service teams, and commercial personnel. This role helps ensure our employees operate safely while strengthening relationships with customers and promoting a strong safety culture.

Unlike a traditional plant safety position, this role focuses on partnering with employees and customers across multiple locations to identify risks, improve safety performance, and drive continuous improvement. Success in this position depends on building trust, influencing without authority, and translating safety principles into practical operational solutions.

What You'll Do

• Support Siegwerk employees working within customer manufacturing environments across the United States.
• Build strong relationships with customer personnel, operational leaders, technical service teams, sales teams, and InHouse employees.
• Conduct safety assessments, workplace observations, and operational reviews to identify opportunities for risk reduction.
• Coach employees and site leaders on safe work practices, hazard recognition, and operational discipline.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and help implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support operations involving inks, coatings, solvents, flammable liquids, drums, totes, and material transfer activities.
• Analyze safety trends and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Deliver engaging safety training and facilitate employee involvement initiatives.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through relationship-building, coaching, and employee engagement.
• Serve as a trusted safety resource for customer-facing operations across multiple locations.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or similar environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and gain buy-in without direct authority.
• Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and employee training.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple locations.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ink, coatings, paint, chemical, packaging, or flammable liquid operations.
• Experience supporting multiple facilities or customer-facing operations.
• Experience building safety committees, engagement teams, or culture improvement initiatives.
• Professional safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, OHST, or similar.
