About the Role

Our Travel and Tourism Presentation team currently have an opportunity for a full time fixed term position (until 1/11/26) with possibility for extension to join their team based at Mayne (Bowen Hills).

Regional Rollingstock Train Presentation Attendant are responsible for providing efficient and high quality cleaning, presentation and minor maintenance service for the Regional Rollingstock Fleet, facilities, and equipment. We are looking for a highly organised individuals who are adaptable and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment.

Purpose That Counts – Some of the responsibilities of the role:

  • Provide high-quality cleaning, presentation, and minor maintenance of the regional rollingstock fleet, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in line with required standards and procedures.
  • Support safety, reliability, and operational availability by carrying out cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in accordance with all relevant safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and support depot operations by documenting all repairs, presentation work, and materials used, while contributing to general housekeeping and the efficient functioning of the depot.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and productively with others involved in cleaning, minor maintenance, or related activities.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and coordination, supported by effective literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Ability to apply workplace procedures, including quality improvement, health and safety, environmental requirements, and customer service standards.
