Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Bachelor of Commerce or related
  • Min 12 years working experience which includes:
  • Management experience at a Senior Level in the Telco/AV/DA or FMCG industry
  • People management experience
  • Extensive experience in working in the Mobile industry in Africa (SEWA/SEEA and SSA), must have experience working with the Operators/Network Carriers
  • The successful candidate must also have Sell-Out / Sell-Through and Sell in experience as they will be working on various Sell-Out platforms.
  • The person must have great relationships with the distributors in Africa as each country operates differently in how they sell the products
  • GTM strategies, Basic Project Management work, strategy building, competitor analysis, market analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to expanding the product's market coverage by setting up a product line-up operation plan.
  • Contribute to maximizing sales and minimizing loss by managing product lifecycle and developing pricing strategy to meet the target sales for the product.
  • Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the department, while maintaining focus on the company's strategic goals
  • Drive delivery of the Company business plan, ensuring growth of category
