Our award-winning client is seeking a Regional Packaging Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient, effective, and compliant packaging operations across our entire region. You will be the go-to expert for all things packaging, working closely with various teams to develop and implement best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee packaging equipment, processes, and materials across the region.

• Develop and maintain packaging specifications and instructions.

• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and customer representatives to identify and implement packaging improvements for new and existing products.

• Lead or support the selection, design, installation, and commissioning of new or improved packaging equipment.

• Continuously optimize packaging operations to ensure production quality, boost productivity, and achieve cost savings.

• Partner with operators, engineers, maintenance, and plant management to achieve packaging goals.

• Support Quality and Product Management in investigating and resolving packaging-related customer complaints.

• Travel regionally for routine visits or special projects (10-20% of the time).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Packaging, Mechanical, or similar preferred).

• Minimum 4 years of experience in packaging and packaging equipment within a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with packaging liquids is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to travel regionally as needed.
