About the role and team

Working at Uber means solving complex, real-world problems where performance and scale can’t be separated. As a Regional Operations Manager, you aren’t just overseeing a process; you are the driver navigating the messy reality of global systems to turn strategic goals into tangible execution. Whether you are incubating multi-tier supply partnerships or bridging the gap between business needs and advanced data science, you’ll be expected to make smart decisions with imperfect information and own the outcomes end-to-end.

This role is built for those who thrive in high-stakes, fast-moving environments where the only constant is change. You will act as both a hands-on operator and a strategic partner, managing the tension of competing priorities and building processes from the ground up. If you are energized by ambiguity, stay steady under pressure, and are motivated by the challenge of moving the real world, this is where you’ll grow.

What you’ll do

  • Build and lead high-impact strategic programs from the ground up, managing partner performance and scale-up targets to maximize benefit to the platform.

  • Design, implement, and oversee automation and operational solutions to scale new and existing processes, always focusing on long-term efficiency and growth.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders—from senior executives to offshore technical teams—to find win-win solutions and drive alignment on shared goals.

  • Leverage advanced analytics and business intelligence to uncover hidden patterns, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and challenge the status quo with data-driven recommendations.

  • Act as an operational liaison with Product and Engineering teams to identify and build the tools and tech stack needed to reduce friction and improve scalability.

  • Manage multi-tier projects under tight timelines, ensuring reliability and transparency while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Operations, Program Management, Analytics, or a related fast-paced field (e.g., Consulting, Consumer Tech, Advertising).

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of owning projects end-to-end and delivering measurable results in a startup or high-growth environment.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and capable of using data to drive business decisions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical teams.

  • Hands-on experience managing and optimizing complex systems or digital campaigns.

  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (SQL and Python are a plus).

  • Experience with machine learning, optimization modeling, or advanced business intelligence tools (Tableau, Salesforce).

  • Background in specialized industries such as Digital Advertising (GAM/DSP), Fleet Logistics, or Supply Management.

  • Ability to work independently with a "self-starter" attitude, tackling problems that don't yet have a defined solution.

  • Experience working with globally distributed stakeholders across multiple time zones and cultures.

About Uber

We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way. Movement is what we power. It’s our lifeblood. It runs through our veins. It’s what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can move better. For you. For all the places you want to go. For all the things you want to get. For all the ways you want to earn. Across the entire world. In real time. At the incredible speed of now.

The idea for Uber was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We’ve grown into a global platform powering flexible earnings and the movement of people and things in ever expanding ways. We’ve gone from connecting rides on 4 wheels to 2 wheels to 18-wheel freight deliveries. From takeout meals to daily essentials to prescription drugs to just about anything you need at any time and earning your way. From drivers with background checks to real-time verification, safety is a top priority every single day. At Uber, the pursuit of reimagination is never finished, never stops, and is always just beginning.
