We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Operations Leader to join our Waterproofing Division team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and efficient management of our projects from inception to completion. Position will require participation in all phases of the project life cycle including project turnover and initiation, project set up, preconstruction, procurement, construction and closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. High data fluency and ability to translate insights into changes in the field
  2. Experience with coaching and developing multiple project delivery teams
  3. Experience improving safety, quality, and efficiency in our industry
  4. Interface with estimating to fully understand as-sold estimates and proposals, including clarifications, exceptions, and exclusions.
  5. Provide support and interface with project managers to support their needs, ensuring alignment with the prescribed execution plan and incorporating a periodic weekly review of project performance based on typical earned value management elements.
  6. Ensure consistency in the creation and use of project controls and project management risk toll gate programs to drive operational consistency within assigned region of responsibility.
  7. Establish a comprehensive project set up plan by deconstructing estimates and developing an adequate earned value management plan to accommodate the as-sold execution plan.
  8. Ensure appropriate change management rigor when deviations from scope, schedule, and budget occur, administering change management compliant with signed contract documents.
  9. Conduct periodic reviews of project performance, creating project documentation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to support client contractual requirements and deliver financial understanding to the company through monthly EAC calculations.
  10. Support monthly business reviews and operating reviews along with support to WIP job cost accounting calls.
  11. Utilize an EAC accounting methodology to understand revenue recognition and progression within appropriate fiscal periods.



Qualifications

Required Skills and

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in a construction / project based business
  • Strong WIP experience and POC financial acumen with ability to connect to actions in the field
  • Strong process/controls experience and ability to scale best practices
  • High data fluency and ability to translate insights into changes in the field
  • Proven experience in project controls management within the construction or maintenance industry.
  • Understanding contracts, standard commercial T&C’s, contract compliance, invoice auditing, and proposal experience considered a major plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills and

Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CCP).
  • Experience with building façade maintenance and window cleaning projects.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Bi-lingual (English, Spanish)

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Office-based with regular site visits required.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders and ability to work at heights.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel up to 35% of the time.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to the Divisional Operations Leader.
  • May oversee a team of project controls specialists and coordinators.
