Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: $155,000.00 annually.
• Bonus Potential: 10% Optimizer Annual Incentive Award (OAIA).
• Travel Perks: $55 daily per diem and lodging provided for authorized out-of-town travel.

Position Summary

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of regional service operations. This role leads teams, optimizes processes, ensures regulatory and safety compliance, drives service-level performance, and supports strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is an experienced operational leader with a strong background in HVAC, facilities services, or skilled trades who can effectively balance people leadership, client management, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and develop a team of operational and technical professionals within the assigned region.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, coaching, retention, and talent development.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and succession planning initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and operational problem-solving support to team members.
• Foster a culture centered on accountability, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Operations Management

• Manage regional operations to meet service-level agreements (SLAs), customer expectations, and performance goals.
• Oversee workforce deployment, scheduling, and resource utilization to ensure timely, quality service delivery.
• Manage operational budgets with a focus on cost control and financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, standard operating procedures, and operational workflows.
• Identify and implement technologies and best practices that improve efficiency and productivity.
• Investigate operational challenges and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
• Act with urgency to resolve customer concerns and operational issues while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Safety & Compliance

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Conduct safety meetings, training initiatives, and compliance reviews.
• Ensure employees have access to required tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report, investigate, and follow up on safety incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7-10 years of leadership experience in HVAC, facilities management, field service operations, or a related skilled trade environment.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Strong operational leadership, project management, and team development experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and operational best practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve performance goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

• HVAC Journeyman License
• Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
• Facility Management Professional (FMP)
• Sustainable Facilities Professional (SFP)
• DCCA Certification
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• ISO 14001 Certification

Work Environment & Travel

• Remote position supporting regional operations.
• Regular travel required to customer sites, meetings, and operational locations.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to provide reliable transportation for business travel, with mileage reimbursement provided in accordance with company policy.

The Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) Employment Standards Program is conducting rulemaking to implement changes passed last year to the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act.

The new laws update the act’s wage and salary disclosure requirements. They also establish guidelines for when an employer can require a valid driver’s license as a condition of employment or include a statement in a job posting that an applicant must have a valid driver’s license.

The amendments were included in Substitute Senate Bill 5408 and Substitute Senate Bill 5501 during the 2025 legislative session.

As a result, the Employment Standards Program is defining terms and requirements and clarifying applicability, enforcement, and penalties through the rulemaking process to reflect statutory changes.

The compensation rate for this position in the US is: $155K

The program filed the CR-101 preproposal for rulemaking on Aug. 5, 2025, and anticipates filing the CR-103 for adoption on April 21, 2026. The effective date of the laws was July 27, 2025.
