How will you make impact with us

The Regional Merchandising Operations Intern will be an integral member of the APAC Retail Design and Visual Merchandising team. This role entails responsibilities such as facilitating design administration, ensuring data entry/input is current, and managing project(s). Additionally, the intern/trainee will update counters for Travel Retail and Local Markets with a particular emphasis on the Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEA OC) region.

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with their manager to ensure that goals are met and deliverables are executed within set timelines. The role involves providing operational support to relevant team members as needed. This position is ideally suited for ambitious undergraduate or graduate students eager to make a significant impact in the rapidly expanding APAC market, with a specific concentration on the South East Asia & Oceania landscape.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Regional Merch Operative Intern will report to the Hard Merchandising Team Lead

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

SEA OC TR Specific (B&M / E-Retail)

  • Order Management and Operations Oversee the entire order lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of Point of Sale Materials (POSM) and visual merchandising elements to assigned retail locations.
  • E-Retail Product Coordination Regularly update e-retail platforms with new products, ensuring that all listings are accurate and current.
  • Financial Coordination Liaise with the Finance department monthly to ensure prompt and accurate invoicing and purchase order management.
  • Merchandising Maintenance Collaborate with designated contractors to maintain physical counters in pristine condition, supported by the Hard Merchandise Team Leader for optimal brand representation.

OPERATIONAL

  • Data Management Act as the primary custodian for maintaining up-to-date records across all SharePoint channels. This includes curating weekly updates for the global team in the format of reports & ensuring all data remains current and relevant.
  • Collaboration with APAC Team Engage proactively with APAC Merchandising Managers and Merchandise Executives to guarantee seamless operations during Counter Openings and Permanent Visual Merchandising implementations.
  • Newsletter Coordination Interpret and customize information from HQ’s Weekly Newsletter to fit local market nuances across all APAC regions, overseeing its distribution within all operational zone
  • Supplier Coordination Directly oversee external suppliers, including contractors, agencies, and vendors, to confirm that all marketing materials are produced cost-effectively and distributed accurately across market locations, arranging delivery to different touchpoints.
  • Database Maintenance Maintain an extensive database of counter operations. Collaborate effectively with various regional departments such as Marketing, Retail Operations, Training, and Supply Chain to optimize performance and alignment with corporate strategies.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate / Graduate student from reputable university.
  • Internship Duration: Jun/Jul - Dec 2026 on full time basis
  • Experience in Data Entry / Data Input is a plus,
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complexity.
  • International mindset as this individual will be in constant communication with Global Team in Paris as well as various leads in Asia contingent (APAC)
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office; Skills in PBI is a plus.
  • Flexible approach to work, ability to support changing needs and demands.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Committed to achieve excellency in execution within the time frame given
  • Passionate about Beauty industry & Luxury Panorama.
