Your new role

As a Regional Medical Advisor, you'll serve as the scientific ambassador for Novo Nordisk's cardiometabolic portfolio, building peer-to-peer relationships with leading medical experts and facilitating the exchange of cutting-edge clinical knowledge across your region.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining deep scientific knowledge in obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, then disseminating clinical trial data and medical insights to local and regional physicians
  • Establishing yourself as a trusted scientific partner with key stakeholders through peer-to-peer relationships grounded in scientific rigor and integrity
  • Designing, coordinating, and delivering educational programs and medical training for internal teams and external healthcare professionals
  • Proactively addressing scientific challenges while ensuring all external communications comply with regulatory requirements
  • Contributing to the generation and critical evaluation of new data relevant to our cardiometabolic portfolio
  • Supporting clinical activities as the local therapeutic area expert and facilitating new product launches through close cross-functional collaboration
  • Managing medical activities and developing regional medical advisory services that increase scientific awareness of our products' clinical value

This role requires 80% travel across 4 regions and reports to the Medical Cardiometabolic Manager.

Your new department

You'll be joining the Medical Cardiometabolic team in the Medical and Regulatory department within our Czech affiliate – a focused unit dedicated to ensuring scientific excellence and regulatory compliance. Together, you'll work to improve patients' quality of life and bring innovation to the Czech market. It's an exciting time to join this team as we continue expanding our impact in the cardiometabolic space, where agility and collaboration are essential to our success.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a scientifically rigorous medical professional who thrives on sharing knowledge and building meaningful relationships with healthcare experts. You'll bring with you:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or PharmD degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in metabolic medicine (diabetes, obesity, CVD, dyslipidemia), either from pharmaceutical industry or medical practice
  • In-depth understanding of the role of medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, including medical affairs tools and activities
  • Strong ability to understand and efficiently communicate complex scientific data to diverse audiences
  • Experience with project management in digital transformation, digital health, or other digital fields, with up-to-date knowledge of current technology
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Drive, initiative, and agility in your approach to work
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Czech and English
  • A personality aligned with the Novo Nordisk Way
