The MCC Data & Insights Manager is the analytical engine of the regional Marketing, Client & Communications (MCC) function. In this role, you will be hands-on in building and maintaining the data infrastructure, dashboards, and reports that power MCC decision-making across SEAO, while ensuring compliance with Group policies.

You will transform complex data into clear, actionable intelligence that drives effective MCC investment decisions, sharper client engagement, and stronger strategic planning in the region.

Your key responsibilities include:

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Build and maintain performance dashboards and data trackers, thereby establishing a single source of truth in SEAO.
  • Standardize data collection processes and reporting templates across markets, driving consistency.
  • Maintain data integrity across platforms and tools, coordinating with HQ and market teams to address gaps.
  • Coordinate with HQ on data governance, tool integration requirements, and reporting standards, acting as the regional point of contact for MCC data matters.

MCC Data Intelligence & Strategic Application:

  • Prepare quantitative studies to translate insights into actionable recommendations and commercially grounded narratives that inform decisions.
  • Apply advanced client data analysis to identify trends, predict behavior, and optimize targeted strategies for client engagement, recruitment, retention, and loyalty.
  • Directly contributing to annual Regional Action Plan.
  • A key user of MCC Data IT tools. Define requirements for enhancements and participate in user testing.

Client Database Management & Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with Group and local data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, PDPA) and drive robust processes for data quality and accuracy.
  • Strengthen quality of omnichannel client database across all touchpoints.
  • Enhance client data capture tools and support the extension of client digital platforms, when applicable.

MCC Data Champion Community Building:

  • Define and champion MCC data standards and best practices, partnering with markets to embed them in daily operations.
  • Lead regular training sessions to enhance proficiency in available data tools/analytics.
  • Cultivate a collaborative data intelligence community by fostering a data-driven mindset across teams.
  • Provide organizational and administrative support for Regional MCC community initiatives

YOUR PROFILE/KEY SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business Analytics, or equivalent
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in data analysis, marketing insights, business intelligence or a related analytical field
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing analytics tools; experience with Anaplan or similar planning tools is an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling, and commercially relevant narratives, presenting insights effectively to non-technical and senior audiences to support strategic decisions and investment priorities
  • Track record working across multiple data domains e.g., client, marketing performance etc.
  • Proactive, and comfortable operating independently across both recurring deliverables and ad-hoc strategic requests simultaneously
  • Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work effectively across functions in a matrixed, multi-market organisation
