Job Description

We are seeking a strategic Regional Brand Marketing & Business Strategy Analyst to drive growth across IMG markets. The role will identify regional trends, deliver market-specific insights, and develop scalable marketing strategies across Asia Pacific, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa. You will also manage regional governance for agencies, brand, budgets, and internal controls while influencing diverse market teams.

Analytics Key Responsibilities

  1. Cross-Market Synergy & Scalability
  • Cluster Analysis: Group markets by consumer behavior, digital maturity, or economic factors rather than just geography to identify shared challenges and scale successful marketing initiatives.
  • Regional Benchmarking: Establish unified KPIs and brand health benchmarks across regions, allowing leadership to objectively evaluate performance across highly diverse market types (e.g., mature vs. hyper-growth).
  • Best Practice Syndication: Build a framework for capturing localized wins (e.g., a successful campaign in Australia or a digital breakthrough in Southeast Asia) and translating them into repeatable playbooks for other regions.
  1. Localized Deep-Dives & Growth Diagnostics
  • Market Diagnostics: Conduct rigorous root-cause analysis when specific markets face headwinds, looking at localized pricing, competitive moves, supply constraints, or shifts in consumer sentiment.
  • Local Opportunity Mapping: Identify hyper-local growth vectors—such as emerging digital channels in Africa, changing regulatory landscapes in the Middle East, or shifts in the Australian retail landscape.
  • GTM Localization Support: Partner with local marketing teams to pressure-test their go-to-market plans, ensuring they are rooted in data while respecting local cultural nuances.
  1. Regional Leadership & Strategic Influence
  • The "Translator" Role: Serve as the strategic bridge between regional leadership goals and local market realities, ensuring data insights are realistic and actionable for local teams.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Regional Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams to align marketing investments with regional business capacity and commercial targets.

Executive Storytelling: Synthesize vast, fragmented data points from dozens of countries into high-level, clear strategic recommendations for the IMG Regional Marketing Director and regional executive leadership.

Ongoing Analytics Workstreams (list not exhaustive)

  • Media Budgeting: Multi-market media investment planning to support annual budgeting and business planning, using competitive benchmarks and metrics modeling
  • Marketing Attribution: Media Mix-Sales modelling, MROI measurement, and enhanced analytics flows to strengthen performance through marketing and audience insights.
  • GTM Analysis: Product launch and GTM measurement, including target setting, dashboards, and performance tracking

Performance Tracking: Marketing performance analysis, including media benchmarking, dashboards, and monthly reporting. Regional brand reporting and leadership updates, coordinating inputs across multiple markets
