Essential Job Functions:

This job is responsible for leading regional marketing strategy and execution for P&C portfolio across South Asia. The role translates commercial objectives, market insights and product priorities into clear value propositions, market communications, sales enablement tools, demand-generation programs and product management actions that support profitable growth, customer engagement and strong alignment across Sales, Technical, Product Management, R&D and Regulatory teams.

  • Partner with regional sales leadership to translate business strategy into marketing priorities, segment plans, pricing/value messaging and customer-facing growth initiatives. Develop customer and market value propositions, support portfolio prioritization, coordinate launch planning, and track execution against commercial objectives.
  • Gather and analyze customer, competitor, channel and industry information to identify growth opportunities, portfolio gaps and product positioning needs. Support product lifecycle activities, portfolio rationalization, launch readiness, product data quality and alignment of messaging with technical and regulatory inputs.
  • Create and maintain sales tools, customer presentations, product guides, case studies, competitive battlecards and training content that help sales teams communicate differentiated value. Conduct enablement sessions and ensure regional teams have consistent, accurate and compliant messaging for customer engagements.
  • Plan and execute targeted campaigns, webinars, events, digital content and lead-nurturing activities that build awareness, generate qualified opportunities and support pipeline growth. Use campaign performance metrics and customer engagement data to refine programs and improve return on marketing investment.
  • Manage regional market communications, including messaging frameworks, product announcements, customer-facing content, newsletters, event communications, case studies and internal stakeholder updates. Ensure communications are clear, consistent, brand-aligned and adapted to regional market needs while coordinating with global marketing and corporate communications teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing/Business; prior experience supporting regional portfolios, product launches, demand-generation campaigns and market communications for specialty chemicals, paints & coatings or industrial B2B markets.
  • 8–10 years of experience in B2B marketing, product management, commercial excellence, sales enablement or market communications within the chemicals, coatings, additives or related industrial sector
  • Requires strong B2B marketing, commercial excellence and market communications capability, with the ability to translate technical product information into compelling customer value propositions and sales-ready messaging.
  • The role requires market intelligence and analytics skills, portfolio and product management understanding, digital marketing and demand-generation experience, strong copywriting and presentation capability, project management discipline, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with paints, coatings, additives or adjacent specialty chemical markets is preferred, along with the ability to manage regional communications, events, campaigns and sales enablement materials in a compliant and brand-aligned manner.
