Job Description

The Marketing Manager for Air Conditioning Products plays a vital role in driving the success of Samsung Air Conditioner business in Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO) region. In collaboration with key stakeholders from subsidiaries and Suwon office (in South Korea), this individual is responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies tailored for both B2B and B2C markets.

This individual will primarily focus on leading marketing initiatives across SEAO to enhance brand awareness and preference while generating effective sales and marketing materials to support both Sales & Technical teams.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business leaders and product managers to develop regional marketing strategy that aligns with global marketing directions and brand guidelines
  • Provide strategic guidance and support subsidiaries in adapting global direction into localised marketing plan
  • Create compelling marketing materials such as digital assets, brochures, flyers, use cases etc, adhering to Samsung’s brand guidelines (More focus will be on B2B)
  • Lead planning and execution for regional partner conferences and industry events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop multi touch point marketing campaigns that drive awareness, lead generation and partner engagement (including online and offline)
  • Own and manage SEAO AC (Air Con) marketing budget and project procurement process
  • Liaise closely with Suwon office to ensure that all marketing assets created are cascaded down to subsidiaries for localization and implementation
  • Consolidate all Suwon office and SEAO office developed AC marketing assets and maintain an up-to-date library to easy access
  • Stay updated on competitors’ marketing activities and conduct regular analysis and reviewing brand, competition and trends to enhance brand equity
  • Track the performance of marketing campaigns and share best practices with the subsidiaries
  • Continuously explore new marketing techniques and technologies to stay ahead in the competitive B2C & B2B landscape
  • Management of external vendors, e.g. creative agencies, vendors

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in marketing in either B2C or B2B markets. Experience in both is a plus
  • Experienced in performance marketing, including paid digital campaigns, social media advertising and marketplace/e-commerce optimisation
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Experience in vendor management is a plus
  • Creative thinking abilities to develop innovative marketing campaigns
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, or similar) to create simple, on-brand visuals for LinkedIn and other social content
  • Understanding of branding principles and ability to adhere to brand guidelines
  • Ability to manage budgets and track campaign performance metrics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships with local sales organizations and stakeholders
  • Agility and resilience to navigate and influence within a Samsung matrix environment at a local, regional and global level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Occasional travel within Southeast Asia & Oceania and to Suwon office in South Korea
