Regional Manager / VP of Property Management | Maryland · $120,000–$200,000

About the Role A growing residential property management company with a portfolio spanning Maryland is looking for a sharp, high-energy operations leader to bring structure, accountability, and momentum to its properties. Depending on experience, this role could come in as a second Regional Manager or step up as VP of Property Management — overseeing the full portfolio and leading the existing regional team. This is a real seat at the table for someone who's built their chops in a corporate environment and is ready to own something.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Operations

• Oversee day-to-day physical operations across a large residential portfolio
• Monitor occupancy trends and delinquency, ensuring on-site teams are executing consistently
• Conduct property visits to identify underperforming assets and drive corrective action

Accountability & Standards

• Implement and enforce SOPs across leasing and property management teams
• Ensure follow-up protocols are being executed at the site level (delinquency outreach, prospect follow-up, etc.)
• Elevate professionalism across on-site teams — culture, presentation, and unit readiness

Systems & Integration

• Lead transition of assets onto the Yardi platform
• Partner with leadership to standardize processes across all portfolio entities

Qualifications

• Background in residential property management, ideally with experience at a larger corporate firm
• Currently or recently in a regional management role
• Hands-on, high-energy operator with strong problem-solving instincts
• Yardi experience strongly preferred
• Ability to travel locally within Maryland for regular property visits
