Regional Manager- Sales and Technical
to work in
Nairobi, Kenya

Job Summary:

Interpret
and translate client requirements into a solution that can be configured from a
standard set
of
offerings.
Operate
as
a
single
point
of
contact
or
as
part
of
a
team
(on
large
deals
with
multiple Solutions) accountable from
Stage 1 to deal closure

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·
Market
knowledge
for
Diesel,
Gas,
Thermal
and
Solar
based
power
plants

·
Prepare
the
sales
strategy
for
Kenya
market

·
Create
the
strong
enquiry
base
for
respective
products/
services

·
Lead
and
create
a
team
of
effective
sales
personnel

·
Analyze
the
market
requirements,
competitor’s
plans/
strategies
and
prepare
the
business

·
Plans

·
Preparing
presentations,
proposals
etc.
as
per
specific
customer’s
requirement

·
Should
be
able
to
prepare
tenders
with
the
help
of
supporting
staff
and
take
lead
to
win

·
the
same

·
Making
close
relationship
with
consultants,
contractors,
customers
and
all
working
staff

·
Aware
of
Quality
Assurance
plans,
safety
requirements
and
environmental
requirements

·
Understand
and
translate
buyer
requirements
into
a
standard
solution,
proposal
and
cost

·
estimate

·
Preparing
the
schedules,
work
plan,
budgeting
and
MIS
reports

·
Understand
and
clearly
define
the
input
required
to
create
cost
estimates

·
Collaborating
as
a
key
member
of
the
sales
team
to
represent
the
solution
offering
to

·
the
client
buyer
and
other
internal
groups.

·
Ensure
up-to-date
knowledge
of
products
and
services
offered.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

·
Diploma
Engineer,
BSC,
B-Tech
will
be
preferred.

·
At
least
5
-
15
years
of
work
experience
in
a
similar
capacity,
with
high
success
rate

·
Ready
to
travel.

·
Must
have
experience
in
selling
the
D.G.sets/
Gas
sets/
Solar
Power
plants
and
providing turnkey solutions

Relevant
working
experience:

·
Minimum
3
years
in
a
reputable
company
in
generators.
