Your opportunity

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager, Centre Experience to lead and manage our five Westfield destinations in New Zealand.

The Regional Manager is part of our Centre Experience Leadership team and reports to the Group General Manager – Customer and Destination. This role plays a critical connection point between the New Zealand business and the broader Australian enterprise, ensuring local insights, operational trends and market considerations are represented in enterprise decision-making, while also embedding enterprise priorities, operational standards and leadership expectations consistently across the region. Its impact is seen in the consistency of destination operations, the strength of Centre Manager capability and leadership, and the ability of the New Zealand business to operate as a connected and aligned part of the broader Customer Experience portfolio.

A typical day will see you leading the five Centre Managers in New Zealand in maintaining a strong customer focus and ensuring the teams are empowered and enabled to deliver great experiences each day. You will drive strong commercial outcomes through the effective financial and commercial performance of our centres while ensuring compliance across the region in relation to workplace safety and life safety and continually reviewing NPS data and insights.

As an experienced and seasoned people leader, you will develop and nurture a customer obsessed talent pipeline across the region at all levels.


Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting Centre Managers to deliver consistent, high-quality customer, operational and commercial performance across New Zealand
  • Translate enterprise strategy into clear regional priorities and execution plans
  • Ensure destinations meet high standards of presentation, service and operational readiness
  • Use customer insights, retailer feedback and performance data to identify opportunities and drive improvement
  • Proactively manage risk, governance and operational compliance across the region
  • Build leadership capability, accountability and succession depth within your team
  • Partner cross-functionally (Leasing, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Asset Management) to deliver outcomes
  • Act as the key connection between New Zealand operations and the Australian enterprise

  • Leading with resilience, insight and continuous improvement: Bring credibility, sound judgement and calm decision-making in complex environments, applying a customer-led and data-driven approach to continuously improve performance, culture and outcomes
