Role Purpose

To spearhead GEDU’s growth in the Gujrat by building strong business partnerships, leading high-performing BDM teams, and optimising people, processes, and market strategies.

The Regional Manager will be responsible for achieving regional enrolment and revenue targets, improving conversion performance, strengthening partner engagement, and driving sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Team & Sales Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BDMs to achieve B2B student recruitment and enrolment targets.
• Drive intake-wise performance and support teams in improving conversion rates.
• Set clear objectives, monitor KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Coach and develop BDMs to maximise productivity and commercial performance.
• Identify performance gaps and implement targeted action plans.

Partnership Development

• Identify and build strong relationships with student recruitment agencies, educational institutions, schools, and strategic partners across the Gujrat.
• Expand and strengthen GEDU’s recruitment partner network.
• Lead partner meetings, onboarding sessions, training, and engagement activities.
• Maintain long-term and productive relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and drive successful closure of partnership opportunities.

Market Growth & Business Development

• Develop and execute strategies to expand GEDU’s market presence and student recruitment pipeline.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities.
• Identify new recruitment channels and potential strategic partnerships.
• Provide market insights to senior leadership to support business and product strategies.
• Analyse partner and customer feedback to improve recruitment effectiveness and service delivery.

Strategy & Operations

• Work closely with senior management to develop and execute regional growth strategies.
• Review sales, pipeline, revenue, and performance data to identify opportunities and risks.
• Drive cost-effective business development initiatives and optimise commercial performance.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Conversion, Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams to maximise enrolment outcomes.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and regular performance reporting.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Regional Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing sales, BDM, agency, or student recruitment teams.
• Strong track record in B2B sales, partnership development, and revenue/enrolment growth.
• Experience within international education, student recruitment, study abroad, or a related sector is highly desirable.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong commercial and business acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/business reporting tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the Gujrat as required.
• Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at different stakeholder levels.
