About the role

Reporting to the Director, Aged Care NSW & ACT, you will lead the Support at Home services focussed on continuous growth and retention of clients and operational excellence. We are seeking an experienced and values-driven leader in this newly created position at a time of growth. This is a permanent full time position located in the ACT with some flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of Support at Home services within ACT and ensure compliance with corporate policies & processes, the Strategic Plan, business plan and the relevant statutory regulations, funding agreements and accreditation standards.
  • Develop yearly growth and marketing plan for ACT for new customer business and becoming employer of choice
  • Network and develop strategies for identifying opportunities for sustainable growth through gap analysis, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Lead and promote a positive team culture to ensure the client experience is exceptional.
  • Provide coaching, support and advice on complex client needs, service delivery issues and critical incident response.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing a national approach to change and continuous improvement, championing and supporting at a local level.
  • Be a point of escalation for direct reports, staff complaints and client complaint follow-up.

There is flexibility to work from home, however, there will be travel required to engage with clients, employees, colleagues and business partners across ACT.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualification in Human Services or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Human Service sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of programs and services for vulnerable people with a commitment to the care and protection of elderly.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to plans and strategies that drive growth and performance in regions.
  • Extensive experience in leading quality and compliant services.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities in a dynamic, high volume work environment and to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
  • Experience in change management and creating a positive team culture.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
