We are now looking for an experienced and driven Regional Manager to lead and support services across Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who can inspire teams, drive operational performance and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care.

Job Description

What you'll do

As Regional Manager, you will take responsibility for the operational performance, quality and development of services across Hertfordshire. Working closely with Branch Managers and the wider senior leadership team, you will ensure services consistently meet regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and the high standards expected by CCH Group.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership and development: Lead, motivate and support Branch Managers, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Quality and compliance: Ensure services operate in line with CQC requirements, relevant legislation, safeguarding standards and contractual expectations.
  • Operational performance: Monitor regional performance against agreed KPIs, identifying risks, addressing underperformance and implementing effective action plans.
  • Business growth: Identify opportunities to develop services, strengthen local partnerships and support the sustainable growth of the region.
  • Financial management: Oversee budgets, cost control and resource utilisation, ensuring services operate efficiently without compromising the quality of care.
  • People management: Develop leadership capability, support workforce planning and promote colleague engagement, retention and professional development.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, commissioners, healthcare professionals and other key partners.
  • Continuous improvement: Share best practice, drive service improvements and ensure positive outcomes for the people who rely on our care.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our services across Hertfordshire are not only compliant and commercially successful, but also places where colleagues feel supported and the people we care for receive the very best service.

Qualifications

What you need

We are looking for an experienced, commercially aware and people-focused leader with a strong background in health and social care.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a senior operational or regional management role within the health and social care sector.
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and the legislative requirements governing care services.
  • A track record of leading, coaching and developing managers to achieve operational and quality objectives.
  • Experience managing budgets, monitoring performance and delivering against business targets.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and improve service performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
  • The ability to analyse performance data, identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • A proactive, resilient and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple services.
  • A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care and improving outcomes for the people we support.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel across Hertfordshire.
