ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Regional Manager for the Inner Gippsland and East Metropolitan Melbourne Region. This role is responsible for driving quality housing outcomes, ensuring compliance with community housing standards, and strengthening service outcomes for tenants

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality tenancy and property management services across Melbourne’s East Metro region
  • Permanent Full-time position - (38hrs/week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and support Tenancy Managers, providing regular supervision and performance feedback,
  • Overseeing day‑to‑day tenancy and property management operations to ensure responsive services meets KPIs, funding requirements and regulatory standards across the Est Metro and Gippsland portfolio.
  • Strengthen financial sustainability by actively monitoring operational expenditure, maximising income opportunities, and driving efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain data integrity across housing systems and ensure tenant records are up to date
  • Identify service improvements and contribute to program development and implementation
  • Manage risk and ensure high-risk situations are addressed in line with policy
  • Coordinate asset management planning with internal stakeholders

ABOUT YOU

You are a purpose-driven people leader who combines strong operational capability with compassion and accountability. You’re confident navigating housing compliance, stakeholder environments, and team leadership, while maintaining a focus on tenant outcomes.

Key capabilities:

  • Tertiary qualification in Property, Business Administration or Community Services are desirable
  • Prior experience in a similar role managing staff who oversee a diverse property portfolio
  • Sound knowledge of housing development within the social housing and community welfare sector
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, service improvement, and operational management
  • Strong knowledge of community housing policies, tenancy legislation, and compliance frameworks

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. Together, we are committed to improving the health outcomes for children today and in the future.

In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
