REGIONAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Reports to: Regional Manager / Regional VP

In this role, you will be partnering with regional leadership in identifying and resolving region-wide maintenance gaps through training and supporting the regional maintenance staff. You will be leading and heading up efforts to ensure that resources are available to address any issues that may arise in the various communities. In addition, you will be looked to for guidance, support, and coaching within your region.
Essential Functions:
• Provide hands-on leadership and management to maintenance team members
• Communicates and manages policies and procedures
• Assist with resident service requests when applicable
• Maintain the storage compound in a safe and organized manner
• Maintain tools, the maintenance facility, and equipment within the different communities in the region
• Coordinate new home delivery and set-up, and request any warranty or follow-up work with the community manager and manufacturers
• Order supplies, tools and equipment (with management approval)
• Enforce and update safety precautions and procedures as needed
• Maintain and audit regional assets including grounds, buildings, equipment, pools, etc.
• Assist with snow removal when and where applicable
• Respond to emergency calls in an acceptable manner as outlined by the Regional Manager
• Additional duties as assigned by the Regional Manager which are subject to change
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for up to eight (8) hours per day
• Use hands, including fingers, to handle or feel objects, tools or controls (may be a repetitive motion)
• Reach with arms and hands
• Effectively communicate with vendors and residents
• Frequently required to climb or balance
• Vision abilities include close and distance vision with the ability to adjust focus
• Required to regularly push, pull, lift or carry 40 lbs. Occasionally up to 85 lbs.
• Use of potentially hazardous chemicals
• Must be able to climb ladders, occasionally up to a 20-foot ladder
• Flexibility
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous refurbish or make-ready experience preferred
