Goldmark Property Management is seeking an experienced, hands-on Regional Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across a large multifamily portfolio in our Minneapolis market. This is a senior leadership role with real operational ownership—ideal for a maintenance professional who has grown beyond a single-site role and is ready to lead people, budgets, and performance at scale.
The Regional Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in driving consistent maintenance standards, strong resident experiences, and high-performing teams across the region. While this role is largely about leadership, the ideal candidate brings both people leadership and technical credibility, and is comfortable stepping in to support complex maintenance challenges when needed.

Operational Leadership and Resident Experience:
• Review regional maintenance operations and implement improvements to policies, processes, and service delivery.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and team challenges.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics, including work orders per hour, staffing, and resident feedback.
• Ensure consistent quality standards through regular site, building, and apartment inspections.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and Leads across the assigned sector.
• Partner with Learning & Development to deliver initial and ongoing technical and leadership training.
• Build succession plans and support career growth for maintenance team members.
• Develop and manage on-call rotations.
Financial and Vendor Management:
• Assist in the development and oversight of regional maintenance and operations budgets.
• Manage vendor relationships and maintenance-related contracts.
• Support capital projects and special initiatives, including bid review, scope development, and project oversight.
• Prepare maintenance expense details for owner communications as needed.
Experience and Education:
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a maintenance/facilities management role.
• Must have vehicle, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and meet company insurability requirements.
• Certified Property Maintenance Technician (CPMT) preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of residential maintenance experience.
• Yardi Property Management Software preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Word, Outlook and Excel is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, without direct authority, to achieve consistent high-level results.
• Familiar with federal, state, and jurisdictional laws and regulations concerning multi-family housing, Fair Housing, and team member safety.
• Proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.
