REGIONAL LOSS PREVENTION MANAGER

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF LOSS PREVENTION

STATUS: EXEMPT

The Regional Loss Prevention Manager (RLPM) is responsible for protecting the assets of the company utilizing Loss Prevention (LP) and Store Operations processes. The RLPM is part of the LP Department and reports to the Director of LP.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to field personnel in all areas of loss prevention, safety, and operational compliance.
  • Drive adherence and execution of LP and Safety related processes in assigned areas through store visits and communication. This includes virtual and in-person meetings and messaging, phone calls, and conference calls.
  • Conduct LP Snapshot audits in select stores to train store staff and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Report findings to store leadership in a timely manner through the audit management system. Assist field teams in designing action plans to establish adherence where needed.
  • Implement and maintain high shrink target store plan to alleviate shrinkage in at-risk areas and train store personnel on shrink reduction strategies.
  • Ensure assigned stores can properly use all LP tools. This includes Auror, CCTV, alarm pass codes, safe combinations, security passwords, and other security controls. Utilize these tools reduce shrink and risk exposure and support building security.
  • Utilize Auror crime intelligence platform to identify crime and safety threats targeting the company, staff, and customers. Conduct investigations in conjunction with Law Enforcement to identify and arrest perpetrators.
  • Investigate online marketplaces to identify selling of stolen product. Work with law enforcement to identify sellers and recover stolen assets.
  • Utilize Agilence POS exception reporting system to identify internal theft and fraud. Investigate and process cases as per company policy.
  • Train store personnel on physical inventory processes. Supervise preparation efforts for physical inventory counts.
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of multi store Loss Prevention field management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Wicklander-Zulawski certification or equivalent preferred
  • Experience conducting and closing investigations within a retail environment
  • Ability to utilize EBR (exception based reporting) systems
  • Strong computer skills including proficient with Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Solid understanding of retail business intelligence reporting for sales and metric related data which includes key sales drivers, conversion rates, etc.
  • Capable of communicating clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able build and maintain productive working partnerships with field teams
  • Adhere to Boot Barn’s Code of Conduct, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to travel overnight for up to 60% on average
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and complete assigned projects within specified timelines

PAY RANGE: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00/yr*

*compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure
