Job Description

Scope of the Position:

Lead end to end logistics strategy and operations across the Asia Pacific region, oversee regional warehousing, transportation, 3PL partners, customs & cross border compliance, inventory distribution, and cost optimization. Drive standardized logistics processes, digital transformation, KPI performance, cross country stakeholder alignment, and support regional business growth with stable, efficient, and compliant supply chain delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regional Logistics Strategy & Network Planning

• Develop and execute APAC logistics strategy aligned with global supply chain roadmap, optimize regional warehouse network, distribution routes, and multi modal transportation solutions (sea, air, land, cross border trucking).

• Evaluate market changes, tariff policies, trade regulations, and business expansion needs to adjust logistics layout and inventory deployment across APAC markets.

• Lead regional logistics capacity planning, peak season preparation, and contingency planning for supply chain risks.

2. End to End Logistics Operations Management

• Oversee inbound raw material logistics, outbound finished goods distribution, cross border shipment, warehousing, last mile delivery, and order fulfillment across APAC countries.

• Manage 3PL service providers, freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers; conduct supplier performance evaluation, negotiation, contract management, and service improvement.

• Ensure on time delivery (OTD), order accuracy, inventory integrity, and logistics service level compliance in each country/territory.

3. Cost Control & Budget Management

• Formulate annual APAC logistics budget, monitor actual spending, analyze logistics cost drivers, and implement cost down initiatives without compromising service quality.

• Optimize freight rates, warehousing fees, packaging cost, and customs clearance cost; benchmark regional logistics performance against industry standards..

4. Compliance, Risk & Quality Control Setup scorecard for our forwarder and manage on monthly basis.

• Ensure full compliance with local customs laws, trade regulations, export/import control, tax policies, Incoterms, and regional logistics safety standards in all APAC markets.

• Identify logistics risks including port congestion, policy changes, supply disruption, and compliance violations; build risk mitigation plans and crisis response mechanisms.

• Establish regional logistics SOPs, audit operational processes, and maintain consistent standards across all markets.

5. Performance Management & Digitalization Process improvement from end to end.

• Define regional logistics KPIs (OTD, inventory turnover, logistics cost ratio, damage rate, lead time, etc.), track monthly/quarterly performance, and drive continuous improvement.

• Lead deployment and optimization of TMS, WMS, SAP/ERP and other logistics digital systems; promote process automation and data driven decision making.

• Prepare regular regional logistics reports for global headquarters and APAC leadership team.

6. Cross Functional Collaboration & Team Leadership

• Lead and develop regional logistics team, manage country level logistics supervisors, conduct performance reviews, training, and talent development.

• Collaborate closely with sales, planning, procurement, finance, legal, and global supply chain teams; align regional requirements with global standards.

• Build strong relationships with government authorities, customs, 3PL partners, and local business stakeholders across APAC.

Education & Experience

-Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or related fields; master’s degree / MBA preferred.

- Minimum 10 years end to end logistics & supply chain experience, with at least 5 years regional management experience covering APAC/NAFTA/EMEA markets.

Required Skills

-Solid experience in managing cross‑border logistics, international freight, customs clearance, bonded warehouse, 3PL management, and multi‑country distribution networks.

-Experience in manufacturing, high tech or multinational company supply chain is highly preferred.

-Proficient in English (written & verbal) for regional and global communication; Mandarin native level. -

Deep knowledge of Incoterms, international trade rules, cross border tax & tariff policies, and regional customs regulations.

-Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, cross cultural communication and problem solving capabilities. -

-Hands on experience with TMS/WMS/SAP/ERP systems, data analysis and logistics KPI improvement projects.

-Excellent strategic thinking, budget management, project management and leadership skills. Able to travel frequently across APAC countries and adapt to multi cultural working environment. -

Experience in logistics digital transformation or regional supply chain restructuring projects.

-Flexibility to work across multiply time-zone in multiple languages, flexibility to balance the working time between Asia and US/EMEA. Desired Skills • Certifications: CSCP, CLTD, PMP, Customs Broker License or related supply chain certificates. Soft Skills
