Role Overview

Based in our Pocenia (Italy) site with a hybrid working model, the Regional IT Systems Administrator – EMEA is a skilled, hands-on infrastructure and technical operations role responsible for supporting IT environments across multiple manufacturing facilities and commercial offices throughout Europe. Serving as a key bridge between regional operations and Enterprise IT, this role ensures reliable day-to-day systems operation, implements enterprise IT standards, supports vulnerability management remediation, and provides critical ground-level visibility to global leadership. This position is tailored for an experienced IT generalist who thrives on autonomy, troubleshooting complex multi-domain environments, and driving continuous operational improvements.

Core Responsibilities

• Regional IT Operations: Administer and support local IT infrastructure across assigned European sites. Provide direct support for plant-floor systems (industrial workstations, terminals, scanners, thermal printers).
• Server & Network Support: Manage physical/virtual servers (Windows, Hyper-V/VMware) and local backups. Troubleshoot and configure local networks (LAN, WLAN, managed switches, VLANs). Diagnose ISP, SD-WAN, and VPN connectivity.
• Security & Enterprise Alignment: Enforce corporate IT standards. Partner with InfoSec to execute monthly patching, vulnerability remediation, and endpoint protection. Act as the local operational liaison for Global IT.
• Advanced Tier-2/3 Support: Resolve complex issues for Windows 10/11 endpoints and M365. Manage identity, access, and devices via Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune/SCCM. Manage tickets via ServiceNow.
• Lifecycle Management: Coordinate hardware refreshes, network expansions, and server migrations. Maintain accurate CMDB inventory and coordinate with local 3rd-party IT vendors.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience & Education: Technical diploma/degree or equivalent. 5+ years of hands-on experience in multi-site IT systems administration, ideally within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Technical Competencies:
• OS & Directory: Strong expertise in Windows Server (2016-2022), Windows 10/11, Active Directory (GPO, DNS, DHCP), and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Networking: Proven ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP, managed switches (Cisco, Aruba), VLANs, Wi-Fi, and basic routing.
• Endpoint & Security: Hands-on experience with M365, Intune/SCCM, EDR/antivirus, and patch management workflows.
• Virtualization: Experience managing VMs on VMware vSphere or Hyper-V, and local backups (e.g., Veeam).
• Soft Skills: High autonomy, ability to prioritize across multiple sites, and strong communication skills to interact with both factory personnel and global engineers.
• Language Skills: English at C1-C2 level is mandatory. Fluency in Italian is required. A third European language is a strong plus.
• Mobility: Ability to travel periodically to regional plant sites across Europe for major deployments and audits.

What we offer

The expected salary range for this position is estimated between €60,000 and €80,000 gross. The contractual level, in compliance with the classification of the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria), will be between B3 and A1. The specific offer will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
