Job Description

Strategic Leadership & Business Development

  • Define and execute the regional Industrial Projects strategy aligned with global objectives
  • Identify, develop, and secure complex project opportunities with EPC contractors, project owners, and industrial clients
  • Lead RFQs, tenders, and solution-based sales efforts for large-scale projects
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline across target sectors (energy, mining, infrastructure, renewables)
  • Establish strategic partnerships and expand market presence

Project Solution Design & Technical Oversight

  • Oversee development of end-to-end project logistics solutions, including multimodal transport strategies
  • Ensure technical feasibility through route surveys, load engineering, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and specialised vendors for lifting, transport, and installation planning
  • Review and approve complex technical and commercial proposals

Operational Execution & Delivery

  • Oversee execution of complex project cargo movements, including:
    • Heavy-lift and oversized cargo
    • Breakbulk and charter shipments
    • Time-critical, milestone-driven deliveries
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with client expectations
  • Manage subcontractors, carriers, and specialised vendors
  • Drive risk mitigation, safety compliance, and operational excellence

Financial & P&L Management

  • Own full regional P&L, including revenue growth and margin performance
  • Develop pricing strategies and cost models for complex projects
  • Monitor financial performance, forecasting, and cost control
  • Drive profitability through effective procurement and vendor management

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Act as senior point of contact for key clients, EPCs, and strategic partners
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
  • Interface with port authorities, customs agencies, and regulatory bodies
  • Represent the company in client engagements, industry forums, and commercial discussions

Leadership & Capability Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing team across commercial, operations, and engineering functions
  • Establish SOPs, governance frameworks, and best practices for project execution
  • Mentor and develop internal talent, including project managers and analysts
  • Drive continuous improvement in execution quality, safety, and customer experience

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Strong commercial acumen with the ability to originate and close complex project business

· Deep understanding of project logistics, including heavy-lift, breakbulk, and OOG transport

· Experience with multimodal transport planning and execution

· Strong leadership and team-building capabilities

· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

· Ability to operate in high-pressure, dynamic project environments

· Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability

EDUCATION AND DIRECT Work experience

· Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred)

· 15+ years of experience in project logistics, project cargo, or heavy-lift forwarding

· Proven experience managing large-scale, complex logistics projects

· Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management within EPC or industrial sectors

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES

· Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred

· Additional technical or engineering certifications are an advantage
