How you make a difference

The Regional HR Business Partner works closely with leadership to align business goals with employee and management needs across a designated area. This role provides day-to-day support and guidance on a wide range of HR topics, including employee relations, onboarding, policy interpretation, compliance, compensation, benefits, and development. The position helps create an engaged workforce by delivering value-added HR services to both employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and counsel to employees and leaders on policies, procedures, and HR-related matters while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Advise managers on employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Partner with leadership to identify training, coaching, and development needs and implement solutions.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, and morale by strengthening relationships and aligning teams with organizational culture.
  • Provide performance management support and ensure consistent application of compensation practices across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources management/partner role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS applications and Internet applications
  • Corrections and/or Healthcare industry experience is a plus

Licenses/Certifications

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred
