The Regional HR Generalist will serve as a key operational partner to the HR team, with a primary focus on Compensation & Benefits, HRIS & HR Operations, and HR Generalist support for the Ningbo plant. This role is integral in ensuring effective HR service delivery, process efficiency, and compliance across the region, with strong emphasis on data accuracy, rewards management, and local HR support.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Compensation & Benefits
•
Support the annual compensation review cycle, including data preparation, benchmarking, salary structure analysis, and communication.
•
Assist in administering incentive programs, bonus calculations, and recognition schemes.
•
Participate in benefits enrollment, renewal, and employee inquiries related to total rewards.
•
Conduct regular audits of compensation data to ensure accuracy and equity.
•
Prepare reports and analytics on compensation trends, budget impacts, and rewards effectiveness.
2. HRIS & HR Operations
•
Maintain and audit HRIS data (e.g., Workday) to ensure integrity and compliance.
•
Generate HR reports and dashboards related to headcount, turnover, compensation, and other key metrics.
•
Support HRIS implementations, upgrades, testing, and user training.
•
Streamline HR operational processes and document procedures to enhance efficiency.
•
Ensure accurate payroll inputs and collaborate with finance on payroll-related matters.
3. Ningbo Plant HR Support
•
Assist the HR Manager in daily HR operations, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, and employee records management.
•
Support performance management activities, employee engagement initiatives, and training logistics.
•
Handle employee inquiries related to policies, payroll, and basic HR matters.
•
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies within the plant.
•
Participate in plant-level HR projects and regional/global initiatives as needed.
EDUCATION:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
•
Minimum 5 years of HR generalist or specialist experience in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
•
Experience in HR operations, talent management, total rewards, or HRIS is required.
•
Familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS is preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS:
•
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, VLOOKUP, data visualization, macros) and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI would be a big plus).
•
Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
•
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact effectively at all levels.
•
High integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
•
Proficient in written and spoken English.
•
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently and under pressure.
•
