About YQN:

YQN is a fast-growing, technology-driven international logistics platform offering FCL, LCL, air freight, trucking, customs clearance, warehousing, and more. We are expanding our U.S. warehouse and transportation network and are looking for a Regional HR Business Partner to support our Northeast operations.

About the Role:

Based in Port Reading, NJ, the Regional HRBP will be the strategic and hands-on HR partner for site leaders across our Northeast warehouse and transportation locations. This role drives workforce planning, employee relations, performance, compliance, and retention across a primarily frontline, multi-site workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary HR partner for regional and site leadership, aligning people strategy with operational goals.
• Lead workforce planning with Operations, including headcount, staffing models, labor cost, and seasonal peaks.
• Manage employee relations across sites: conduct and document workplace investigations, coach managers on corrective action, and resolve escalations.
• Ensure HR practices comply with federal and state employment laws (including New Jersey and other Northeast state requirements), and partner with legal counsel as needed.
• Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, time-to-fill, and engagement; recommend and drive action plans.
• Drive retention and engagement programs for frontline and supervisory employees.
• Coach and develop site managers and supervisors on performance management, feedback, and people leadership.
• Partner with Recruiting on hiring plans for new sites and high-volume roles; support onboarding and new-site launches.
• Standardize HR policies, processes, and SOPs across sites in the region.
• Support compensation reviews, promotions, and organizational changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years as an HRBP supporting multiple sites or a region.
• Experience supporting frontline workforces in warehousing, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Strong employee relations and investigations experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. and New Jersey employment law; experience with other Northeast states is a plus.
• Strong data skills (Excel, HRIS reporting) and the ability to turn metrics into action.
• Ability to influence and coach leaders in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Willingness to travel between sites up to 30%.
• Mandarin speaking preferred.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR is a plus.

Work Location: On-site in Port Reading, NJ, with regular travel to regional sites.

Pay: $100,000 – $120,000 per year, based on experience.
