Bring your energy to Aggreko as Regional Fixed Asset Accountant – North Europe and DACH based in Moerdijk, Netherland

You’ll ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and timely recording and reconciliation of Fixed Asset and Fleet registers. This position requires expertise in M3 and Aggreko's internal Fixed Asset processes to proactively account for, reconcile, and provide essential support for month-end close and audit requirements. You will act as a central point of contact for fixed asset matters in the Region and foster strong relationships with regional finance teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure compliance with fixed asset policies and coordinate across regional teams and SSC.
  • Manage and reconcile Fixed Asset Registers, accounts, and subledgers, resolving issues and guiding SSC actions (capitalisation, disposal, accruals).
  • Partner with Fleet and finance teams to align registers, correct discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Review and approve reconciliations, accruals, depreciation, and exception reports, including statutory and tax requirements.
  • Lead stakeholder communication (including auditors), deliver analysis, and support process improvements and change initiatives.

You are/have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA or equivalent preferred; experience also considered).
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within a global organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed asset processes, including purchasing, billing, and intercompany charges.
  • Experience with ERP systems (including non-finance modules) and handling complex multi-entity transactions, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams and deliver results collaboratively.
