An exciting opportunity exists for an exceptional leader to join our Ecology & Environmental Approvals leadership team as Regional Executive – Environmental Approvals NSW/ACT

This role combines business leadership, client growth and team development, with the opportunity to strengthen our market presence and help shape the future of Environmental Approvals at WSP.

Reporting to the Director of Ecology & Environmental Approvals, you will help deliver business performance, build capability and grow our presence across energy, resources, Defence and infrastructure.

This role will suit a respected approvals leader with strong commercial acumen, technical credibility and a passion for building high-performing teams.

What You'll Do

• Bring a strong market profile and trusted relationships across key sectors including resources, energy and Defence.

• Shape and deliver business strategy with the Ecology and Environmental Approvals leadership team.

• Lead and develop 20+ environmental approvals professionals across NSW and ACT.

• Drive business strategy, P&L performance, growth and commercial outcomes.

• Strengthen strategic client relationships and identify new market opportunities.

• Lead major pursuits, proposals and business development.

• Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, safety and technical excellence.

• Mentor and coach future leaders.

• Oversee resourcing and operational performance.

• Champion governance, risk management and quality outcomes.

• Represent WSP through industry engagement and professional networks.
