YOUR IMPACT _________

  • Identify training needs and formulate winning strategies for Education across Travel Retail APAC and SEA markets to support their business needs and objectives.
  • Direct and facilitate the educators on planning and implementation of training strategies that inspire and motivate our beauty advisors to drive sellout.
  • Develop TR & SEA specific retail excellence with client centric approach in all education programs and activities are executed in line with MAKE UP FOR EVER’s standards & values.
  • Collaborate with and influence International Edu team on market needs to design education materials.

YOUR MISSION _________

STRATEGY PLANNING & EXECUTION

  • Develop and implement training strategies that are tailored-made to markets.
  • Plan regional training calendar and monitor budget to meet business, sales and marketing objectives.
  • Direct educators to develop regional strategies and implement training programs.
  • Adapt and design education materials to address the needs of business environment and consumers.
  • Design and execute the planned retail & education curriculum, digital learning APP, grooming guidelines, coaching programs to optimize field team productivity and achieve the overall sell-through objectives.
  • Evaluate and follow up on effectiveness of training programs and activities, provide recommendations to markets and craft follow-up plans.
  • Consolidate and share best practices and makeup trends between the markets.

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING

  • Conduct regular Train-the-Trainer workshops for educators to elevate training experience.
  • Collaborate with educators & retail managers to develop and coach field team on brand/product knowledge, makeup skill and selling technique.
  • Train and provide certification for regional educators and field team on in-house development programs.
  • End-to-end planning and execution of training courses according to market needs.
  • Map out regional educators’ development with HQ education team, arrange workshops to elevate skills.
  • Motivate and engage filed team by organizing key events e.g., expert seminar, BA dinner, contests.

RETAIL EXCELLENCE

  • Design service flow adapted to different market and retailer needs.
  • Incorporate retail processes and guidelines into specific training programs to ensure best service quality and grooming that is in line with the desired brand image.
  • Monitor filed team grooming standards and implement seasonal makeup looks and attires.
  • Participate in the launch animation planning and makeup demo shows with marketing and retail team.
  • Support HPPs, makeup shows, livestreams, in-store events, or other events sponsored by brand.
  • Gather customer & field team’s product feedback and formulate objection handling speech.
  • Work with Marketing & Commercial to formulate responses and follow up on customer complaints.

COLLABORATION & BRIDGING THE MARKETS

  • To be the face of Education in respective markets and establish good relationships with all the education departments and retail partners.
  • Maintain a good relationship with other markets’ education team, seek opportunities for cross-over projects and exchange best practices.
  • Collaborate with HQ on specific projects implementation and adaptation to TR APAC & SEAO markets.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU OFFER _________

  • University Graduate or above.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience in makeup artistry, training or retail in cosmetics industry.
  • Possessed solid makeup skills or graduated from a well-known makeup school is a plus.
  • Willing to travel frequently (40%).
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin; other languages or dialects i.e., Korean or Cantonese is a plus.
  • Computer literacy & proficient in MS Office applications – PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Strong beauty retail experience and business sense in Travel Retail or SEA Local Market environment.
  • Strong leadership with strategic mindset; enthusiastic about retail, education and developing people.
  • A team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and intercultural skills.
  • Passionate and creative about make-up, artistry, and trends.
  • Ability to develop and deliver client centric and interactive training to engage target audience.
