Under general supervision of the General Manager, the Inventory Control Manager oversees the integrity of the inventory through mandated corporate programs and execution of full physical inventory. Provides leadership and manages the day-to-day activities of Inventory Coordinator(s). Ensures completion of scheduled cycle counts and maintains the integrity of the locator system with regards to bin maintenance per Company guidelines. Reconciles all pick exceptions and schedule of inventory cycle counts as needed as well as research all ISO Discrepancies reported from serviced Distribution Centers. Champions, prepares, and executes the mixing center's annual physical inventory.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in vendor inventory recall or product withdrawal as directed by management.
  • Collaborate with local management to ensure warehouse associates comply with inventory procedures and uphold safe working conditions, monitoring equipment usage.
  • Coordinate with international logistics teams to resolve pending shipping discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure the distribution center’s RTS (Return to Stock) and adjustment processes comply with company policies, tracking inventory flow to meet corporate turnover goals.
  • Lead and manage Inventory Coordinators and Dispatchers, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and development to support operational excellence.
  • Maintain integrity of the locator system for physical and systematic product placement within the distribution center, reconciling pick exceptions as needed.
  • Monitor daily emails for Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASN’s) to facilitate timely submission to relevant parties, including U.S. customs.
  • Oversee dispatcher responsibilities to resolve outbound discrepancies promptly, meeting distribution center and Hub & Spoke schedules.
  • Plan and execute the distribution center’s annual physical inventory process effectively.
  • Research and resolve ISO discrepancies reported by distribution centers, assisting corporate accounts payable with invoice discrepancies for timely resolution.
  • Review pending cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory entries in the ORACLE system according to corporate guidelines.

Qualifications
