The Regional Director of Visual Merchandising (RDVM) drives consistency of visual execution in all stores within the region, establishing Bloomingdale’s as the local leader of the merchandise presentation their region. The RDVM inspires and guides the store team to deliver environments filled with creative energy and aspirational yet approachable style. The RDVM is focused on role modeling a strong creative sense of fashion leadership balanced with an understanding of metric driven commerce. The RDVM dreams big in their support of corporate and regional initiatives, pushing the envelope of what bold and innovative means for their team.
Partnering with the RDOS, GMs, and store teams, the RDVM understands, supports, and responds to the needs of the region decisively and methodically to make things happen The RDVM builds and cultivates a motivated, skilled and equipped management team.
The RDVM drives front of house planning to ensure day in/day out merchandise presentation techniques and promotional events calendar are executed and consistent with corporate visual merchandising, while placing the customer first, always This is achieved through managing and developing a powerful team of passionate executives and hourly colleagues, building together to ensure best practices are executed, and guaranteeing the delivery of fashion leadership, merchandise strategies, fashion trends, prototypes and creative alignment to marketing campaigns in our stores.
