We’re seeking an experienced and inspiring leader to join us as Regional Director of Project Management in Manchester.
Reporting to Regional Managing Director, you’ll oversee Project Management, Design Management and Cost Planning, and all pre-construction services necessary to enable delivery of a range of residential led projects. At a time when the delivery of housing is very much at the centre of the national agenda, you will be able to play a key part in delivering new affordable homes across the country.
You will lead a team of colleagues based out of our Manchester office and work closely with other teams across the business from the inception of a project right the way through to the handover and aftercare of our customers mew homes. The range of projects will vary from mixed-use, high-rise city centre regeneration to joint venture housing schemes.
You will be taking the lead in ensuring that a strong project and programme management discipline is applied making sure we deliver in line with the vision, brief and business plan. In doing so you will lead, motivate, develop and manage your team and foster a spirit of collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
You’ll be an excellent communicator and a Chartered Member of the RICS or CIOB and have experience of overseeing multiple projects with a contractor, developer, housebuilder or consultant leading general pre-construction activities with scheme values averaging £50m. You will need strong project management skills, a technical understanding of different construction technologies including high rise buildings and lots of experience in planning, programming and procuring developments to budget. You will also have a strong track record managing multi-disciplinary design teams.
