We are looking for an experienced, dependable nurse to join our team and provide clinical support across our communities.

What You’ll Do

As a Traveling Nurse, you will play an important role in supporting our residents, caregivers, and leadership teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Set up and administer medications as prescribed by physicians
• Conduct medication audits and ensure medication practices meet company and regulatory standards
• Provide ongoing clinical support and phone consultation to supervisors, medication technicians, and caregivers
• Implement and support our nursing and caregiver training programs
• Conduct regular rounds to observe residents and ensure their nursing and restorative needs are being met
• Complete resident admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
• Provide hands-on nursing support on the floor when needed
• Consult with physicians regarding resident care, treatment, rehabilitation, and changes in condition
• Collaborate with community leadership and care teams to promote quality resident care
• Travel to multiple Parallel communities throughout Michigan to provide clinical support and guidance

What We’re Looking For

• Current RN or LPN license in the State of Michigan
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance
• Basic computer skills; experience with electronic medical records/charting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with community teams
• Compassionate, professional approach to working with seniors
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time
