Lincoln Techis currently seeking a Regional Director of Nursing to provide leadership and direction to our Nursing programs in alignment with the organization's goals and missions. As the educational leader, you will oversee the efficient operation of the Nursing Department, ensuring compliance with all relevant government, accreditation, and company policies. Collaborating with the Campus President, Directors of Nursing (DONs), and Instructors, you'll support initiatives aimed at optimizing student retention and success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing
- Master's degree - preferred
- 5+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents, including federal, state, and local regulations and produce routine reports and correspondence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
- Experience speaking in front of large groups
Responsibilites
- Collaborate with the corporate nursing team and Campus President(s) on the strategic planning of the Nursing program and policy development, budgeting, and the overall visibility of the management team
- Finalize the Nursing Department's budget; oversee the school's regulatory compliance, which encompasses education file maintenance, submissions (AIR, Self-Study), accreditation readiness, and accreditation visits
- Ensure that DONs conduct classroom observations and surveys; review the results and ensure that the DONs have met with faculty, students, the Corporate Dean of Nursing, and staff as appropriate
- Support and enforce school and academic policies and procedures; advise and support DONs and instructors as needed
- Develop the curriculum for all programs as warranted; manage curriculum implementation and ensure compliance with standards; assist and advise all schools on matters of curriculum-related issues and contribute to the curriculum review process; communicate all changes to curriculum, books, and supplies to faculty and staff
- Oversee the management of student progress from orientation to graduation; ensure that the DON monitors satisfactory academic progress as it relates to student progression, student attendance, student grades, and graduation rates
- Manage the academic scheduling of students and faculty
- Oversee all processes that lead to student satisfaction and positive student retention, including contacting absent students and advising students
