JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Director, Clinical Training will be responsible for clinical services training for all centers within the assigned region. This will include oversight of clinical care delivery and development/delivery of training programs. This individual will be responsible for evaluating the quality and efficiency of clinical care and activities, monitoring effectiveness of training programs and identifying areas of opportunity. S/he will partner with operations and corporate leaders to review performance and ensure clinical standards and targets are met.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regional leadership resource for all Center Leaders, nurses and physicians regarding Wound Care and DME (durable medical equipment) best practice standards, training, and guidance.
- Offers virtual and in-person program support, including leader and staff training, implementation of new centers, assessment of survey-readiness (non-UHMS) and coordination of resources to ensure consistency in delivery of care across the enterprise.
- Provides and facilitates new-hire training and ongoing educational support to regional leaders, center leaders, and other clinical staff, including initial completion of clinical competency documents and reverification of clinical skills.
- Works with regional and divisional leaders and/or departmental leaders to identify training needs and establish center-specific training plans.
- Facilitates ad hoc training on clinical protocols, documentation expectations, policy and procedure, and best practices.
- Uses metrics to inform training activities.
- Collaborates with leadership and departmental partners to create and deliver teaching materials, including but not limited to learning modules, slide presentations, and live training to deliver excellent, on-time, and on-budget training programs.
- Evaluates RXH training programs for effectiveness and completeness, recommends revisions to programs, as necessary.
- Sponsors and collaborates with multiple Mentorship site locations within area of responsibility that consistently exemplify RXH standards of care to ensure incoming nurses and leaders have a place to shadow, receive competency checkoff, and gain product and practice knowledge, a perspective on expected patient flow, and documentation practices.
- Collaborate with operations management on the development of standard procedures, processes, and associated documents.
- Is versed in the language of commonly referenced policies and job aids and uses these tools to educate staff.
- Administers and upholds the Company’s values and policies and procedures while working towards the Company’s mission and vision.
- Demonstrates and maintains competency in core Wound Care clinical skills.
- HIPAA Compliance – complies with all the Privacy and Confidentiality Policy and Procedures.
- Adhere to Patient Safety Initiatives and Infection Control Procedures when onsite as outlined in the hospital’s safety manual.
- Administer and uphold all the Company’s values and policies and procedures.
- Continuously work towards the Company’s goal and vision.
- Responsible for appropriate usage of hospital and RestorixHealth’s resources, supplies, and equipment.
- Travels for training, program or service line evaluation, etc. when business needs warrant.
- Perform duties as directed within scope of practice and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Must have a valid and current BLS from American Heart Association.
- Educational: RN, BSN preferred. Must have a current, valid, and unencumbered license, certificate or registration or credentialing as required. Must maintain all state and federal compliance requirements for licensure and employment.
- Must have or obtain, and maintain, wound care certification credentials within six months of obtaining this position.
- Experience with wound center leadership, including training responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Teams, Outlook, Excel and SmartSuite.
- Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Experience in curriculum development, ideally working with adult learners.
- Knowledge of methods of learning evaluation, training delivery methods (e-learning, instructor-led learning, virtual classrooms), curriculum development tools, and learning management systems.
- Must hold an active, current driver’s license at all times.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires periods of time in which sitting, standing, use of hand and foot motion, vision, hearing, summarizing, focusing with frequent interruptions along with other physical, sensory, and cognitive sensory functions are required.
