Job Description

REGIONAL DIRECTOR — The Motorcycle Company

Field-based (in-region) | In stores 22 days/month

We consult for 25-rooftops — 21 Harley-Davidson, 3 powersports, 1 marine — operating coast to coast. All groups are in acquisition mode and growing toward 40–50 stores, and we manage the stores on one process and one scoreboard.

We are hiring Regional Directors to own the P&L, the people, and the result of a 4-6-store cluster.

Regions: West Coast, Mountain, Northeast, Mid Atlantic, Southeast

What You Own

  • Operating profit, unit volume, and gross across 4-6 stores.
  • The GMs — you develop them, hold them accountable, provide direct support to hit store objectives
  • Staffing every store to budget and the plan.
  • The turnaround of the bottom quartile — where 60% of your days and most of your upside live.

What Makes This Seat Different

This is a partner-track role. Future phantom equity on the region's operating-profit growth.

Who Wins This Job

  • 10+ years in dealership sales leadership; 3+ years across 2 or more rooftops.
  • You have run a store as a GM and hit the number — and you can prove it with reports.
  • You have personally turned around at least one underperforming store.
  • You have built managers who got promoted out from under you.
  • You read a P&L cold, run the meeting, work the desk, and coach the operator — the same day.
  • You are in stores 22 days a month

Full travel coverage, medical/dental/vision, 401(k).

How To Apply

Send your resume and — required — a one-page summary of your last three years of store performance: units, front-end margin, back-end PUS, closing percentages, and operating-profit attainment. Applications without numbers will not be reviewed. Email careers@themotorcyclecompany.com , subject line REGIONAL DIRECTOR — [Your Last Name].
