MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.
Regional Director – Dietary & Food Services
Location: Hybrid Remote / Multi-State Region
Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid Remote | Some Travel Required
Compensation: $90,000–$110,000/year | Bonus Eligible
Licensure: Registered Dietitian (RD) required
Are you a strategic healthcare leader with a passion for nutrition, compliance, and operational excellence? Join us as a Regional Director, Dietary & Food Services, where you will oversee dietary operations across multiple states, ensuring high-quality nutritional services, regulatory compliance, and strong program performance across all assigned sites.
In this role, you will lead regional dietitians and dietary teams while driving consistency in kitchen operations, menu planning, sanitation, procurement, and supply management. You will also serve as a key leader in federal food program administration and financial oversight across the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and oversight of regional dietary operations across multiple states
• Supervise and support dietitians - providing guidance, oversight, and performance support as needed
• Oversee kitchen operations, food safety, sanitation, menu development, and supply management
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory dietary standards
• Manage the CACFP federal food program, including invoicing, vendor contracting, and reimbursement processes
• Oversee regional food budget (~$4M) and support cost management initiatives
• Partner with clinical and operational teams to support nutritional care and therapeutic diet planning
• Provide education and consultation on chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and obesity
• Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain documentation to achieve goals
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and external partners as needed
• Travel regularly to assigned states and program locations
Qualifications
• Registered Dietitian (RD) required; Board Certification preferred
• Experience in a healthcare or nutritional services environment
• State licensure as required
• Leadership and operational experience in healthcare settings
• Ability to travel as needed across assigned regions
